At Salone del Mobile 2026 – Hall 1 – Stand B23 – from April 21 to 26, we present this vision within an immersive space where light moves through the surfaces, revealing their stratifications and constantly transforming their perception. The exhibition project is designed to welcome visitors into an environment that enhances the character of The Crystals and immediately conveys its most material, luminous and architectural dimension.

A stand conceived as a material experience

Within the space, floors, wall coverings and furnishings merge into a unified vision, designed to express the full richness of the material. The exclusive 1840×3300 mm format is showcased in all its expressive strength, revealing the unique potential of our slabs – design surfaces capable of amplifying visual continuity, impact and architectural presence. At the center, large suspended crystals seem to float in space; within them, light ignites and diffuses into the environment, generating iridescent reflections that move across the surfaces, enhancing depth, pattern and character.

It is in this dialogue between surfaces, light and space that The Crystals clearly reveals its concept.

A debut that continues a path of research

The Crystals marks a further step in our brand’s path of experimentation. With Alba, Luce and Iride, we explore light as a force capable of shaping, layering and defining, transforming this inspiration into a proposal of strong visual presence. Crystal thus becomes the starting point for a research that looks to nature in its slowest and most silent processes, translating it into an intense, controlled and contemporary expression.

A direction that expands the language of Optimum Surfaces and strengthens its identity through a capsule designed to leave a precise mark in space and memory.

The size that changes the rules

At Coverings, through the exclusive 1840×3300 mm format (72.5″ × 130″), the largest and most efficient in the world, we clearly express the full design potential of Optimum Surfaces slabs: material continuity, reduced grout lines, maximum compositional freedom, and enhanced texture expression.

Today, this size is our distinctive signature: a concrete advantage appreciated by the market, because it opens the way to design results never achieved before.

An exclusive installation at our booth

At Booth 1415, this vision takes shape in an installation that makes immediately visible the possibilities offered by our exclusive format: the largest table ever made from a single porcelain stoneware slab. A seamless element, essential in its image and monolithic in its presence, made possible precisely by the unique dimensions of Optimum surfaces.

For this project, Travertino Lumina was selected, a surface awarded at the latest Archiproducts Awards, chosen for its ability to effectively interpret the language of the project and enhance the visual qualities of our slabs.

Our presence at the fair also represents an opportunity for dialogue with fabricators, distributors, and industry professionals, to explore how this format can translate into a concrete simplification of design and production processes.

At the Optimum stand – Booth S24075 – we present two iconic installations, created with surfaces from our range, conceived to clearly and concretely express the technical and aesthetic potential of our large format:

• An extraordinary table, the largest ever produced without interruptions, enhancing surface continuity and the visual impact of Optimum’s unique format.
• A complete kitchen, where the seamless countertop enhances the slab texture and the material depth of Rilievo, contributing to a clean, coherent, and rigorously detailed total look.

Cersaie also marks the debut of Rilievo, the new Optimum technology that, for the first time, introduces a three-dimensional finish with natural thicknesses on our surfaces. An immersive exhibition journey designed for Salone del Mobile

Optimum’s booth offers an immersive experience through a circular gallery, where full-size 1840x3300mm slabs fully express the brand’s identity. A journey through three signature effects from the collection—marble, stone and materia—allows visitors to appreciate the dramatic visual impact and versatility of these surfaces.

At the heart of the exhibit, the transformative potential of ceramic material takes shape in an exclusive living space, distinguished by an iconic element: a fireplace crafted with large slabs from Gold Laurent and Borghini collections, laid in a bookmatch pattern for an enveloping and striking aesthetic.

Additionally, a round table with a 180 cm diameter and 20 mm thickness top – featuring Taj Mahal collection, a one-of-a-kind application for porcelain stoneware – demonstrates the endless design possibilities offered by Optimum, opening up new business opportunities in interior design.

Sustainability and warming design: the beating heart of Optimum booth

The fireplace is not only the centerpiece of the exhibition, but also a symbolic hearth of hospitality and sustainability. Finally, this remarkable debut at Salone del Mobile 2025 is dedicated to a figure who left an indelible mark on the international ceramics scene and, most profoundly, on Optimum: Paolo Mularoni, President of Ceramica Faetano and Del Conca USA, recently passed away. The flame at the heart of the booth becomes a tribute: a light that continues to guide us, honoring his visionary spirit and legacy.
