The Crystals by Optimum Surfaces is the capsule inspired by crystal, born from this subtle balance and capable of translating it into a luminous, intense, architectural presence. A project that interprets matter as a living organism, crossed by reflections, internal tensions and perceptual variations that shift with space and perspective.
Within The Crystals, three distinct identities coexist, each linked to a different nuance of white and light. Alba introduces the most enveloping note, with a warm luminosity and soft depth, shaped by delicate transitions and a measured material presence. Luce expresses its most essential and rarefied soul through a clear, pure, balanced surface, capable of returning white in a sharp and refined form. Iride brings the most intense and scenographic dimension into the capsule, with luminous geometries, crystalline traces and visual reliefs that give the surface a strong expressive energy.
The Crystals at Salone del Mobile 2026
At Salone del Mobile 2026 – Hall 1 – Stand B23 – from April 21 to 26, we present this vision within an immersive space where light moves through the surfaces, revealing their stratifications and constantly transforming their perception. The exhibition project is designed to welcome visitors into an environment that enhances the character of The Crystals and immediately conveys its most material, luminous and architectural dimension.
A stand conceived as a material experience
Within the space, floors, wall coverings and furnishings merge into a unified vision, designed to express the full richness of the material. The exclusive 1840×3300 mm format is showcased in all its expressive strength, revealing the unique potential of our slabs – design surfaces capable of amplifying visual continuity, impact and architectural presence. At the center, large suspended crystals seem to float in space; within them, light ignites and diffuses into the environment, generating iridescent reflections that move across the surfaces, enhancing depth, pattern and character.
It is in this dialogue between surfaces, light and space that The Crystals clearly reveals its concept.
A debut that continues a path of research
The Crystals marks a further step in our brand’s path of experimentation. With Alba, Luce and Iride, we explore light as a force capable of shaping, layering and defining, transforming this inspiration into a proposal of strong visual presence. Crystal thus becomes the starting point for a research that looks to nature in its slowest and most silent processes, translating it into an intense, controlled and contemporary expression.
A direction that expands the language of Optimum Surfaces and strengthens its identity through a capsule designed to leave a precise mark in space and memory.
